HOME - NOT a film for people NOT interested in saving our planet

June 5th 2009 saw the release of the film “HOME” simultaneously across the world in every format, whether it be movie theatres, TV, DVD or the Internet and free - or at minimal cost - for the public.

"HOME" is the birth child of French photographer, journalist, reporter and environmentalist Yann Arthus-Bertrand, whose main focus was to create a film developing awareness and education in favour of a more responsible way of living. It was made together with French movie director and producer Luc Besson and with the financial support of the PPR Group.

This movie is a non-profit initiative fostering the protection of Environment. Producers will donate profits back into Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s non-profit making association, GoodPlanet.

A nice fact is that all CO2 generated from making this movie were calculated and offset by sums of money used to provide clean energy to those who do not have any.

A nice wake up call as Humanity barely has ten years to reverse the trend, become aware of the full extent of its spoliation of the Earth's riches and change its patterns of consumption...

Check out the trailer of the film below or see the whole film here, and do your part.
